Renee and I have now moved back into Argentina finishing up 18 great days in Chile. A few summarized points are below:
-To us Chile was strangly similar to Canada. The mountains, ski hills, orchards, wheat fields etc.
-We gorged ourselves on fresh fruit Everyday. You won´t find any peaches in the Canadian supermarkets this week because I ate them all.
-The restaurants are a bit expensive so we made our own meals almost every day, except for a few Completo Hot Dogs….delicious!
-The people are generally dressed very casual and noticably friendly. We found the people to be the friendliest of the 4 countries by far.
-The greatest surprise for us was the number of gigantic volcanoes. They are everywhere up and down the country. We drove by one volcane which had piled up over 1 meter of ash on the nearby town in June. The town was essentially a ghost town.
-Hitting heads on low doorways, hanging tv´s, stairwells, etc….(Colin 58)..(Renee 7). I think this confirms I am taller than Renee.
-New catagory…toe stubbing and tripping on sidewalks and doorways…(Colin 6)..(Renee 38). It is pretty obvious I walk around looking at the ground, Renee walks around looking at the sky. (Interesting trend we have noticed) ha
